ABOUT THE SUPPER CLUB
Tam first imagined what would become the Supper Club many moons ago, inspired by the Café space and local culinary talent. Expanding the Café offerings to include wine and beer with her new license opened the door to make the idea a reality. She just needed to find the right chef to help execute the new dream.
Right on time, Tam was introduced to Chef Dalene Hammond through a mutual friend. They shared a real passion for creating delicious food and a desire to provide unique dining experiences not available in the Lawrence area. Tam’s is excited to kick off the very first Friday Supper Club presented by Chef Dalene Hammond.
CHEF DALENE HAMMOND
After graduating from Culinary school in 2009, I worked as a Chef, Personal Chef and Caterer. With over 15 years of experience in the Culinary Industry, my new favorite thing is intimate Chef dinners. Enjoying great food, paired with great conversations. I am South African by birth, but grew up between Durban South Africa and Perth Australia. My Culinary background, and upbringing across three continents means I have a unique perspective on food. When I am not creating meals for others, I can usually be found in my own kitchen, teaching my kids how to cook, traveling with my family or plotting trips to new food destinations.
